I have a SKRacing/OER side draft carb that shares many of the bolt patterns and jets with the Weber DCOE as well as the general shape. These carbs share that bottom square cover where this mounts. This heat shield is thick, like, thicker than I expected and perfectly cradles the underside of the carb with the angled sides wrapping up around it slightly to help reduce heat from further away. There are pre-set holes that allow maintenance of the venturi without removing the shield. Because of the shape of the stamped bottom cover, the shield only touches the carb at those 4 bolt hole points, significantly reducing the opportunity for direct heat transfer from the shield. Very pleased with the shape, weight, burr-free edging. Great part.
